The Lion Park experience

On Saturday, I went to Lion Park in Coquitlam, B.C for a picnic. There are some false advertising involved. First, there was no lion. When you read the name, you must thought that this park must have lion, no there weren't. In fact, one man decided to call out the park for it.

Or this man who apparently never went outside. The world is a strange place

Then, there's the stream, or more accurately, the Coquitlam River. I don't know about you but when I hear the word "river" or "stream", I expect it to be at least waist deep. The Coquitlam river isn't waist deep, it's knee-deep. You can't even swim if you tried, only rocks in the river. The whole park is crowd, the people are noisy and the water aren't very good. Also there's a train track nearby, every 10 minutes or so there would be a train going by. Overall, the place is very crowd, if you don't get there early enough, good luck finding a parking spot. Final rating: 8.5/10.
