Scythe

 This book took place in the distant future. Where humanity conquered everything and finally decided that Cloud storage isn't necessary a bad thing. Humans also achieved immortality. So now you live forever. Well not exactly, you can fall from a 75 building and still experience something call major injury and brain damage along with the inevitable thing call death. But, hopefully, you can still be revive at a place call the Revival Center. Real creative. Anyway, you can die but you are genetically modified so that if anything bad happens, you can self heal and no damages could sustained. So how do you die permanently? Well, that's when Scythes come in. They're literally Grim Reaper, go up to your house, knock on your door and kill you in anyway possible. They usually killed at least 5 people a week, 20 people a month and 260 people a year. Every year, you always have a chance of a Scythe visiting you, so just be paranoid as much as possible. They don't carry a scythe, this is the future not the past, but they do carry other weapons. Guns, knifes, machetes, flamethrower, rocket launcher, or they might even call in an airstrike on your house or set up a bomb to detonate at a very specific moment in the day. Anything, really. Sometime they carry nothing at all and just look for technique is available and use it. Sometime drowning, pushing off a cliff. But scythes aren't necessary a bad thing whenever you see them. They have these rings that let you gain a whole year of immunity and you gain it by kissing them, then your DNA get magically transferred to the Cloud and now you're safe, for a year at least. So now, what would happen if you give a somebody the power to kill anyone they wish to kill at any given time, you get a psychopath. Scythe can get really insane like killing everyone on an entire plane, that's not supposed to happen. But they did it anyway. So, how do you guarantee your survival in a world like this? Let's find out.

First, the solution is to simply, be gone. Just move to a different country or a deserted island. They can't reach you. If they're going to be that determined to reach you then you can just move to another island. Scythe can't land a plane there, there's no runway. Can't go by boat either, there are Anti-Ship Missiles ready to fire at any second. Can't even approach with a plane, anti-aircraft gun are mounted all over the island. The only way to approach the island undetected is to swim all the way there at night. 

Second, confront the Scythe. You will die so might as well take someone down with you. People can die and be revive but Scythe can't. So just go up to a scythe and stab him, he can stab you back but that's fine, you can now die knowing that you took Death himself with you. 

Third, be a Scythe. This last one is a bit hard because you need to go through a whole year of training and be determine at the last test on whether you can be a Scythe or not. If you don't pass, back to be normal you go. Anyway, if you can't escape death, then join it. It will be much worse but it's worth it.
