The Camp Squeah experience (Day 2)

Image
Hello, We're now on our second day, our one and only full day at the camp. My cabin woke up at 7 AM. We slept longer that any of us expected to. It was freezing outside, probably 278 degree kelvin outside (5 degree Celsius, 41 degree Fahrenheit). Breakfast is served at 8:30 so anybody that wake up before that will have to find something else to do. Rules also said that you can't make any noise before 8:30. So the only sensible thing to do is go to the playground and become a monkey on the tall climbing thing rope thing. Me and some of my friends went to the "haunted" chapel and my friend Lucas decided to become a priest. I then went to the chess board, played against my friend Atom. Though I am not good at chess, I forced him to resign because I was apparently making "accidental good move". We then have to continue our game after breakfast. It was the average North American breakfast consisted of fried egg, sausages, peas and orange juice. Then we continued...

The Camp Squeah Experience (day 1)

Image
Hello everyone.  I went on a 3 days camping trip at Camp Squeah with my class. Camp Squeah is a camping place 177 km north-east of Vancouver, it took 2 hours of driving to get there and it was a long trip but the view made up for it. Then there's my friend. There were an estimate total of 60 loud and energetic children on the bus so it was very loud and make it hard to concentrate on anything at all. I also consumed a sandwich every time the bus passed by a scene worth admiring. In total I consumed 2 sandwich because there were only 2 in the bag. When we arrived at camp, it was approximately 11:30 so everyone was hungry. They fed us a grilled cheese sandwiches and tomatoes soup. Then everyone went into the main lodge and the camp director, pretty sure his name was Nick, showed us how the camp works. Here's the breakdown: There's an inaccessible pool, a playground, cabins, a haunted church, a gym, an archery range a bathroom, activity courses and a field. Just to name a few...

The Lion Park experience

Image
On Saturday, I went to Lion Park in Coquitlam, B.C for a picnic. There are some false advertising involved. First, there was no lion. When you read the name, you must thought that this park must have lion, no there weren't. In fact, one man decided to call out the park for it.  Or this man who apparently never went outside. The world is a strange place Then, there's the stream, or more accurately, the Coquitlam River. I don't know about you but when I hear the word "river" or "stream", I expect it to be at least waist deep. The Coquitlam river isn't waist deep, it's knee-deep. You can't even swim if you tried, only rocks in the river. The whole park is crowd, the people are noisy and the water aren't very good. Also there's a train track nearby, every 10 minutes or so there would be a train going by. Overall, the place is very crowd, if you don't get there early enough, good luck finding a parking spot. Final rating: 8.5/10.
