Five Nights at Freddy's, the book

Five nights at Freddy’s. What’s not to love about it. A game where you play as a security guard working at a shift from 12 AM to 6 AM at a Pizzeria that has human size electronic stuffed animals that are entertainments for kids in the day and do “get a bit quirky at night”. What could possibly go wrong. Well, turn out a lot can go wrong. First of all, getting a bit quirky at night is an abbreviation for “they are all going to come alive to hunt you down and kill you.” and also, the second you turn your head away from the camera, something will move. So have fun. And good luck. So, how do the books hold up compare to the game? Well, it did not disappointed, in fact, I'll even say it is more entertaining to read than to play the actual game. And less scary too. Some of the stories actually had me quite scared and the one with the haunted doll waking you up in the middle of the night, man, that one is the last thing I need right now. Like, I’m already waking up in the middle of the night randomly with no reason that I can think of, last thing I need is an actual reason and that reason being a haunted doll is following me around and making noise to wake me up in the middle of the night. That’s just plain scary on its own. And how waking up multiples night can make a person go crazy is a very scary and realistic concept. I'm already having nightmares about it. YAAAY. So that’s a 10/10 on how scary it was and a 0/10 for helping me get a good sleep at night. Good job Scott Cawthon, very cool.
