The salmon experience

Image
Hello there, I recently went to a fish hatchery with my mom and my mom's friend family to see some Salmon and other types of fishes. When I got there, there was a lot of booths in the place. Then we went to check out the actual creek and hatchery. There is a creek, just no water was to be found anywhere and there were no salmon. But the eggs are pretty cool so very nice of the hatchery.  Because of no actual salmons, off we go to Lion Park. As you might remember from last time, Lion Park is very cool and now they have fishes. Now my mom's friend family have two kids. The younger kid, name Kiet, was with us. Now, Kiet is a very energetic kid, and it's like he consumed at least 5 cups full of sugar everyday. He also likes fishing, and the river in Lion Park just so happen to currently have a lot of fish in there so that's where we went with his dad.  There were a lot of fishes in the river, like hundreds and thousands of fish, all swimming. And they are massive, two bague...

The ultimate bathroom reader review

The ultimate bathroom reader People like doing whatever when going to the bathroom for some reason. Maybe they like to distract themselves, then a quick visit to Google destroyed that reason with facts and science. Whatever the case, don’t distract yourself when going to the bathroom, it’s bad and can cause the opposite of diarrhea and make you not go to the bathroom for several day until you stop distracting yourself in the bathroom, especially on the toilet. But this book is great to read while you’re not in the bathroom, like when you’re on the couch/sofa or when you’re in bed. This book is full of facts and quiz to entertain yourself. Fun fact: the White House used to be open for public to visit and do whatever they want (as long as it’s legal). The Great Pyramid of Giza was built not by slave but by minimum wage workers. There are a lot of fun facts in the world and maybe this book will get a second installment in the future. Short and understandable easy to understand b...

Ripped from the headlines review

Ripped from the headlines. The 20 th had a lot of murders, and they all made the headlines. And comes with it a few years later was the movies adaptation. Movies based on real life murder was made to tell the stories of the events that happened. And there were a lot of them. Some are shocking stories but real stories like the “The Body Snatcher” made in 1945 tells the story about the early medicine when the only body you can dissect is body of fresh dead criminal. Body supplies demand was high but the amount coming in were low, that’s when the body snatcher strikes. They would sneak into graveyard, find one that was just buried and dig them up. Then they’ll sell it to the people at the anatomy school for money. Rinse and repeat the whole progress and suddenly, you’re rich. These body snatchers would eventually be caught and the anato...

The friend's house experience

Hello there, Recently, I got invited to a party at my friend, Akshay, house. Along with some of my other friends, we went to his house. Let me just say that, Akshay's house is absolutely massive. It looks more like a mansion and there is everything you need inside. The fridge is filled with sodas and other stuff. There were also a pool and a basement with a projector. There was also another fridge outside near the pool. And there's a slide into the pool. It's pretty much heaven except after a few moments, I realize that I'm not dead and Earth still exist. The only thing we can really do was drink sodas and eat stuff since our bags and stuff were loaded into one of my friend's mom's car. Until then, we hang out by the pool and drink. Then one of my friend, Lukas, changed into his swimsuit and cannonballed into the pool making a huge splash.  When our stuffs arrived, we changed into swimming suit and jumped in the pool. The water is surprisingly warm and pleasant...

The U.S border

Image
Hello again, Ok so today I went to the border separating Canada and United States. Now I don't know what I was expecting. I guess I was thinking of soldier with guns patrolling the border and shooting anyone that even dare to try to cross. I guess my expectation were a little too high because there was nothing worth noting beside the line of cars going from the Canadian side to the U.S side and vice versa. There are some things worth mentioning, first this monument. Very cool monument, definitely made out of natural things mixed in with man-made things. There were also a park that has a lake with some ducks. I think there were like 70 of them all just floating. It is also vital to mention that I went to Point Roberts which is a small town with a population of 2000, and they have no school for children fourth grade onward so students must cross the border 4 times a day on a 40 minutes bus ride to go to school or maybe they can just cross the water but there are no port and who goes...

The Camp Squeah experience (Day 3)

Image
Hello again, Today is our third and last day at camp. It was very cold that morning. Since this was our last morning at the camp, we need to pack our stuff and clean up our cabin. It wasn't easy to do since no one was up yet, we aren't allowed to make any noise so we needed to be as quiet as possible. At breakfast we were served us beans, steak and more orange juice. For a whole hour, I did nothing but play pool. Pool is very fun if you know what you're doing, not me. I had no idea what to do and still manage to last way longer than I expected, and I expected to last 5 minutes. Then we get to everyone's favorite activity. Gardening. I don't like gardening much, in fact, I hate gardening. It's boring and dirty. I mostly do gardening in Minecraft. We were planting beets, so hopefully in 3 years, I can return to this camp and eat some beets. While we were planting beets, my friends found some onion, raw onion. So I did what any sensible person would do and ate the ...
